fractions not showing up

I know this may not be the right place to ask this, but I get no help from Word help.

I have a bunch of recipes that look fine in Word on a PC, but when I look at in on my Word for Mac, the fractions turn into an underscore. I'm guessing these are the fractions that Word automatically changes when you type them in.

I need to publish this book, but I'm not sure what to do about the missing fractions! I tried to change the font, but it did nothing. I got recipes from many different people, so it's not the sources issue.

I hope someone ran into this and can help me!
