Hi,

Recently, I downloaded an application called "Docker". It allows the user to customise varies styles, colors, images, and prefrences relative to the Dock. It is documented as being fully campatible with Intel Leopard.

It did as promised, with a catch (or so I think).

After I played around with this applicaton, I went about my normal work. But when searching for a file with Spotlight, my Finder crashed. Specifically, when I hit the Show All button. The Finder crashes after a 2 second or so spinning-wheel assault, and then it promtly restarts within another second. This happens consistantly whenever I do this, or various other things in the Finder, such as browsing through files and folders.

Why do I suspect this has to do with Docker? Because the timing seems to fit, and also Docker, as a normal part of its job needs to restart finder when I apply changes. I think that there is some bug with Docker that is causing my Finder to crash.

I have reset Docker's setting to apple default, and removed all traces of the application. Nevertheless, even after many restarts, my Finder is still very "Fragile".

I am thinking that a fresh re-install is in order, and I don't think that would be a problem, because I have Time Machine set up, and it has been backing up hourly since a few months ago. (This whole Docker thing started yesterday).

I am running a 2008 Intel iMac 2.8 Ghz, 2GB of ram, with OS X 10.5.7 on it.

Here is the console crash log:

I will happily provide any other information that you need.

Thank you so much in advance!
