I'm curious... does any of the regulars here or modding people know where in can buy a replacement part? I've tried some of the parts site but they don't seem to have this part for some reason, perhaps they sell it as part of the display housing? I dunno...
I need the rubber section that part of the hinge assembly, it fits between the back of the keyboard and the bottom of the screen, not the air vents bit. Mines gone has been blackened at the ends where the fans are, i assume it's cause by the heat and dust... as my MBP has been on constantly where-ever i go.
I've tried cleaning it with mild alcohol but it appears to be stained.. I haven't contact Apple yet.. but will do in due cause. Just thought I'd ask you wise folks first.
