I have an iMac and it was just sitting around on Sleep mode one day. I pressed a key to wake it up and all of a sudden the screen resolution changed or something and now everything is freakishly enlarged and a little blurry... the enlarged icons on my desktop overlapped each other so they all shifted their positions.

I tried changing the screen resolution, and things went back to normal size but still appeared blurry.

Any ideas on how to get it back to normal? Thanks!

Nicole

Hmm...

Everything looks fine???
If your not happy with your resolution, change it.

Hope that helps!

it would probably be blurry if it is set to lower than the native resolution of your display, go into system prefs and change the res to the highest one. should be the one it was set to before?

Wait...

Are you talking about your trash bin there?
If so, go in the Apple --> Dock --> Turn Magnification OFF

I realise the screenshots didn't look blurry on other computers, though it was on this end.

(No, it wasn't the trashcan haha, my cursor happened to be lingering there)

Anyway, I reset the resolution to the highest one and some things look a little small but it's not blurry anymore, so this should be fine. Thanks for the help!
