It's a brave and intriging choice, but it can't be the best choice surely. I mean it's just over 2 months to go and he's still recovering from major surgery plus he is well known to overbowl, and Straus hasn't done too badly.

I would have liked to have seen Strauss retain the captaincy. With Freddie out of the fgold for now, the players have/are getting used to Strauss and he is an excellent cricketer.
