I just downloaded Journler and I was very impressed with the interface and all it's capabilities. I was so excited to start using it until I saw that it is becoming shareware and that I'm going to eventually have to start paying for it during the next update.

First off I have a quick question - if I choose NOT to update Journler the next time one is available that will cause me to pay for it - would I be able to keep the program the way it is now indefinitely? Or does the creator have the power to stop me from using it if I don't upgrade?

But if I can't keep it - I was wondering what people use as alternatives to Journler in order to keep online journal entries and the like?

Thanks!
