Free Apple Bumpers Through Apple Store?

Questions:

Are Apple Bumpers Available for sale in Apple stores?

If they are, Could I buy a bumper there, return and ask for a refund and get it for free if I haven't ordered any case yet from the case program?

my store said they werent selling any cases at all for the IP4

When I got my phone (which was after apple announced the free bumper/case program) they didn't have anything for the ip4 in the store. I asked about the free bumper when I was getting my phone and they just told me to go online everything will be handled there.

The free cases are available through an app that was created for this. You can't walk into an Apple Store and get a free bumper or buy one and get a refund.

They did this because the app verifies that you actually have an ip4 in hand.

I went to the Manchester Apple store yesterday and asked this question - they said that they don't have ANY iphone 4 cases in stock as they have all been returned to their warehouse for distribution via the free case program
