Well i was looking on ebay for applecare for my macbook pro. And in one of the auctions they said that i should check my original warranty status by going to this link: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

So i'm wondering how did i get the applecare? Because i didn't buy it when i originally ordered the macbook. I bought it using the student discount's and i only brought it in once for repairs.
 
In certain countries Apple offer a free upgrade to the Full Applecare when purchased with an education discount.(I think)
