Which one do you people use? I can use itunes to make AAC but it dosnt support Mp3....I might be wrong though!

Using Itunes I converted the audio cd to mp3 but I am not able to find out where it got stored.......I searched my whole directory but none of those mp3s can be found.... I am using iTunes 7 .... any ideas???
