Free Converter from .mpg to .mp3 (Or any)?

I'm looking for a converter that will convert a .mpg file to a .mp3 or any other audio type of file.

Haven't seen a converter that is free before for Mac yet.

Silly lossy conversions! Real men just demux the file and get the .m1a audio stream out of it! </joke>

Though if you use bbdemux, launch it under rosetta.
