Is there a (hopefully free) application out there that will allow me to keep my GCal and iCal on two or more machines in sync?

I'm currently using Spanning Sync, which I really like, but I'm trying to cut costs (saving for a MBP for uni next year with an after school job).

Simple is nice, but I can handle most of what is thrown at me if it makes any sort of sense to begin with :D.

Open source Solution might work

I've seen a couple of blogs talking about this solution, GCalDaemon, but I haven't tested it yet. I'll try at home tonight, and let everyone know how it worked out. I'd love to keep those two in sync.

I've used it on Tiger before that worked perfect but on leopard it doesn't work because of the new way of storing files.. .does anyone know how this is solved? Please let me know!
