FREE Guitar tuner/chords?

does anyone know of a good guitar tuner/chord dictionary that is free
either currently out or coming?

I have seen some great ones in the app store, but they are 5/10 bucks
and i can get the same functionaly, although a bit clunkier, in free web apps

i would like to see some free ones, even just to push the prices of the good ones down a little

The web is great for chord dictionaries, but I haven't seen any web app that can listen to my guitar and tell me the tuning error. For that you need a microphone-enabled app, like some of the ones in the app store. I expect there to be some more expensive ones with more features in the future.
