Hi all, loving Mavericks so far with the exception of one confusing issue.

I've got a mid 2009 Macbook Pro. By following the instructions of another Redditor and downloading a trial, I was able to get all the new versions of the iWork applications.

Annoyingly though, I'm unable to upgrade my existing iLife applications to the new, free ones. All my current applications are the '09 versions. Basically the ones that came with my laptop. I've been told by a few Redditors that I'm eligible for the upgrade, but when I go on the App Store nothing shows up in Updates. I've tried logging out and logging back in to the store to no avail. Also, not sure if this is relevant, but all the parts of iLife are already in my Applications folder. And by that I mean the Applications folder accessible via the dock and not the one found at MyName>Applications in the finder.

Can anybody think of a solution?

I think that only iLife 11 and iWork 09 apps qualify.

So you may have to pay for the upgrade. It's not a lot, if you value the software.
