"While Apple isn't giving away free cases to people experiencing the iPhone 4's antenna problem, a company called cases.com claims they will. They say they will give you a black, purple, rose, blue, or white LifeGrip silicone-based case for free.

You only have to pay for the shipping (First Class Mail brings the total to $3.73). This kind of silicon case could also help with the glass shattering. "

cases.com
didnt see it posted after a search soooo...:)

Eh, it's just an opportunity for Gawker to write "iPhone antenna problem". TMZ of tech. FUD.

Anyone think its worth it

Does it cover the back?

I'm guessing it does cover the back because it says it has openings for the rear camera. I don't think it would say that there was openings for the rear camera if there was no back. I could be wrong though.

"It provides openings for all your major functions including the front and back camera, headphone jack, vibrate/sound switch, speaker, microphone, and docking port."

...This kind of silicon case could also help with the glass shattering...

Not to be rude or anything, but I've noticed that recently a lot of people have been getting silicon and silicone confused recently. Silicon is a semiconductor, like computer chips. Silicone is rubber, like an iphone case. Just wanted to make that clear.

^sorry, just quoted the article. also i think its less than 3.73 or w/e if you dont do rush delivery

It's true, pre order now, shipping on July 8.

Crappy case, but better than nothing, thatnis if WANT a case. Brilliant marketing move.
