Free ipod with macbook exchange?

Hey everyone i start college next week and im about to buy a macbook pro for it! i noticed you get a free ipod touch with purchase and im leanin towards the 32 gig but recently with the posts of new ipod touches coming im starting to wish i could wait til then. would there be any way for me to exchange the ipod touch i get with the macbook pro for a new model ipod touch when they come out? thanks!

Although, I would also try and sell it for the upcoming new iPod Touch because it appears the new features are going to be outstanding.
