I'm looking for a free japanese text-to-speech solution for Mac OS X.

I've googled, but i couldn't find something useful.

Anyone please?

I'm not aware of any simple free tool that does this. MBROLA:

http://tcts.fpms.ac.be/synthesis/

...does have a Mac-compatible free speech generator that does Japanese, and I've gotten it to work, but it requires special .pho files to generate speech, and I'm not aware of any easy way to generate them from Japanese text, at least on a Mac.

thank you, at least for replying!

well, if free solutions are not available. Then what is the best shareware solution (application) on Mac?

btw, how do i get MBROLA to work. I couldn't :(

Thanks again :)

anyone please?

I want *any* Japanese text-to-speech solution for Mac OS X. I'm willing to pay for a shareware solution.
