Free program to sync contact photos?

Are there any free programs that i can download or use to sync with my contacts on my iPhone so that i can add thumbnail pictures for when people are calling?(for PC)

I dont have Outlook, and I tried syncing with my gmail contacts and pictures, but the pictures do not work...

Create a photo folder for your contact photos on your desktop (doesn't have to be outlook) and go to your iPhone in iTune and select it to be sync to your phone. Now the photo folder will in your Photo icon in your iPhone and use these for your contacts.

I have a free program that does this, but it would require at least a £400 investment in hardware on your part. (A Mac Mini with Address Book!)

A MobileMe subscription will also do it, but again not free.
