Free Screen Video Recorders?

Pretty much everything on there involving screen/video capture. As to what program to use, I have no experience on that, but it looks like video capture, no matter which program you use WILL cost you money...it's not freeware.
Edit: just saw the first word of your post "free" I don't think any free screen recorders exist.
