This is from modmyi.com didnt see anyone post about it here yet. I have it installed and its working great. better then snes4iphone as its full screen! Now he just needs to get the wiimotes/ps3 remotes working and itll be perfect.

Hi guys! I wanted to let everybody know about my new iPad port of Snes9x! It's based on ZodTTD's snes4iphone, but lots of stuff has been rewritten, and there's a sweet new user interface. To play you'll need an iPhone or iPod touch with my ControlPad app installed. Both apps are free, and available at this cydia repo:
Code:

Here's a screenshot of the loading interface:

And a little YouTube demo

Installation instructions, more screens, and a link to the source code are at my new blog: SNES (HD) Where the Woozle Wasn't

Please let me know what you think, either in the comments, here in this thread or at wrangler@wherethewoozlewasnt.com

Also, I've written in support for up to four controllers, but I only have two phones to test with. If somebody could try it out and say yea or nay, I'd appreciate it.

Have fun!

P.S. I'm going to submit the packages to the modmyi repo tomorrow, but I've got to get some sleep tonight.

thanks for this post. had it all uploaded within like 5min. kinda hard to use the iphone though since you can't feel the buttons. Can't wait for the ps3 controller update.

Holy Moses. This is amazing. I think it's been said but Wii / PS3 controller support would be awesome as well. Considering how this actually works flawlessly, I'd be down to drop a few bucks for this as opposed to ZodTTD's version which seems to not work properly. Props to Zod, but this guy gets my vote for simply working awesome with great features fo free!

Again, awesome, great job!

For some reason installing controlpad on my iphone 3G seemed to temporarily "brick" it, so i had to do an itunes restore + rejailbreak.

I dont think the 3g deals very well with multitasking and proswitcher, so i wont bother with those, and will try this out again tonight!

I really want a psx emulator so i can finally finish FFVII :)

Tried this last night. Its ok I guess. A few issues I ran into:

-Unlike Zod's version, I have 2 screens to look at so sometimes I dont hit the correct buttons on the iPhone.

-Ive had several games crash on me at various points that never crashed on Zod's.

-My iPhone loses connectivity more often then I'd like. When this happens, I cant reconnect unless I exit the game and reconnect on the main menu. Quite often this doesnt even work and I have to restart both apps.

There's potential Id say. Id love to try it with a PS3 controller. Hopefully future updates will bring this feature and some more overall stability.

It really is pretty awesome, I've been loving playing super mario 3 on it. However the lack of tactility on the iphone screen makes it difficult to know where your fingers are on the control. I did a short video review if anyone wants to check it out before they install
