Hello,
I just restored my 6s 16gb to 9.3 via itunes and then used my 9.2.1 encrypted backup to restore the content on my device.
Problem is: I remember from previous versions 9.0.2, 9.1, 9.2 (not 9.2.1) that my free available space was 10.8/10.6 gb after a fresh restore and a set up as new. If I used my backup then content (1.30-1.40gb) + the remaining free available space would sum up close to the 10.6-10.8 value.
Since iOS 9.2.1, including 9.3, I noticed, even with a set up as new or with a restored backup, my content (1.45gb value now) + the remaining available free space would sum up to around 10.2 gb in 9.3 and the value was even lower in 9.2.1.
So now I have 9.3 with 8.9gb available free space + 1.30gb apps and 125 mb photos as shown in itunes. So a total of 10.2 initial free space on the device.
Also itunes reports in 9.3 1.05 gb of Other data which is absurd. In 9.2.1 it was around 300mb BUT in 9.2.1 documents and data was shown to be 600-700mb in size and in 9.3 it is only 70mb.
It's not like I don't have plenty of space left on my device but these space fluctuations are crazy. I used android in the past and it had no such problems at all.

If you don't want to read the whole story above, I simply ask of those of you who restored to 9.3 and set it up as new to report before installling anything else what is your free available space (not capacity). Or those of you who restored from a backup to give the information itunes is showing regarding the size of each category(app, photo, doc and data and photos).
Thank you for your answers!
