Hi I just bought the 115 gb OWC SSD Mercury Pro and I think the read/write speeds might be low(about 60/60megabytes per second). I'm looking at quickbench but it's $15. Do you know of a free program that I can just check data rate?
I am using Activity monitor to see the read/write and peak hdd transfer rates but they are topping out at 60megabytes per second when I copy or process files. Is Activity monitor accurate?
