Free Texting on iPhone4?

Hey is there really a 'free' texting app on ip4?

If so, are there any hidden charges?

there a textfree unlimted app. the only hassle is it will assign you a separate number which you can give to your friends who can text you free to that number, and you will receive the text in the app. really simple, also you need wifi or 3g enable

I use this textfree unlimited (SMS) in conjunction with my 200 MMS messaging. I've had no problems with it.

The new number is hardly a hassle, though, considering you're getting free texting from it! My ONLY complaint with TextFree is that I didn't know about it sooner. I could've saved so much money on my monthly bill

BTW, I've run TextFree on EDGE just fine
