Free upgrades/extras/discounts??

Im buying my 1st macbook pro on the 28th and am wondering if anybody has had any luck with getting anything extra thrown in when making a purchase with apple over the phone?

Im hoping that a bit of sweet talking/sucking up over the phone could get me a sneaky upgrade or extra accessory thrown in for free.

Anybody have any success with this before?

I haven't had any, I don't think this is very common. Why don't you do it over the internet?

The only reason I'm considering purchasing over the phone was the possibility of some haggling but if like you say this is pretty uncommon I might just stick to getting it on the net

Buy a 2.93GHz Gainestown Mac Pro and whine enough and they'll give you AppleCare. That's the only situation I've heard of.
