Free Video Conversion Software? (MP4 to AVI)

Anybody know a free video conversion app for OSX? I want to convert an MP4 video to AVI so it will run on a PPT presentation on a Windows machine. Kind of urgent, preparing presentation now. Thanks in advance.

Thankyou appleguy123, what an excellent piece of software! Just as an additional question, what codecs and stuff should I use to guarantee playback on a standard windows machine. I've used the xVid codec which already came preset into the software, but there's quite a few others to choose from.

I use the default. Works on the Windows machines at my school.
