Long story short, I have over a hundred DV tapes to log. My usual approach is to manually log them--look at the tape, and then type the shot/timecode list into Excel. That works when I just have a couple tapes, but when I have this many tapes to log it obviously isn't going to work quite so well.

I know there's a few commercial logging apps out there, such as CatDV and iDive, but I seem to recall seeing a freeware one at one point. I haven't had much luck finding it, so I figured someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.
