Free way to edit an AVC0 file?

I downloaded an AVC0 file and want to cut off some video near the end. I can do it with QuickTime Pro, but don't want to spend the cash. Are there free players out there that will play AVC0 files and allow me to cut out a bit and bring the two remaining parts together?
