iPod touch free wifi services

hey I try the search button no luck but I remember having an I touch that had free wifi service anywhere I travel there was solid good wifi signal. HOWEVER which generation was this and series updAte cause a lot of 4th & 5th gen I touch owners say yes and no when I don't know what to believe since I feel anyone will say yes so they can sell their i touch.

can you guys let me know which I touch comes with free wifi signal??

There isn't an iPod Touch out there that has cellular capabilities, or can somehow enable a Wi-Fi signal with Internet connection wherever you go.

If the location you are in has free Wi-Fi, the iPT will be able to connect it. Just as an iPad, iPhone, or Mac would be able to.
