Free WiFi with iPhone at Starbucks

I see that you can get free WiFi at Starbucks if you have an ATT iPhone. The news post says all you need to enter is your ATT phone number for it to let you log in. Not that this applies to me, but does this mean that those of us who have a TMobile iPhone can use the phone number of some one who has an ATT iPhone to use the internet there?

Anyone actually try it? Please post your findings. It would be awesome if we could do that.

I think it checks for an AT&T iphone account.
Someone has to be tried it by now.
