Hello, everyone. Just thought I'd share this easy combo while it lasts.

there is a free Windows 7 trial edition still available for download for a limited time. A key is not needed. The trial lasts for 30 days, with various ways to extend multiple times. On some download pages, you need to fill out a questionnaire that states you are an IT professional in order to complete the download. (I, of course, am an IT professional, and I'm sure you are too. Ahem.
)
Once you get the Win7 download in the form of an .iso file, just get Virtualbox (3.2.4 is the latest stable edition, 3.2.6 has problems right now) and follow the instructions. Took me about 2 hours to set up, but I am slow and plodding.
Voila! Free Windows 7 on your Mac, no purchases needed, no need for Boot Camp partition (unless you want to). It doesn't last forever, but it's a great backup/intro/testing device.
