iPod touch Free Yahoo Pop??

I dont want to pay 20 bucks a year for Yahoo POP to use it on my Ipod Touch. Has anyone ever tried this solution

I do not think that you have to pay for yahoo pop.

I use yahoo on my mail.app and I dont pay yahoo anything.

pop.mail.yahoo.com
smtp.mail.yahoo.com

and I think that the username might have to be your entire email address, and I do not remember but I think that there may be a box that you have to check in your yahoo prefs, but you certainly do not have to pay for it.

you dont have Yahoo mail plus? You just have normal Yahoo. Can you tell me how to set it up on my itouch

i am putting my user name and password in but it wont authenticate

I am getting the user name or password for .imap.apple.mail.yahoo is incorrect and I know the user Id and password is correct

I get same error

I saw in another thread some said enter the info in to the other field btu he didnt say if it worked or not.

ANyone tried that? I am at work an such cannot.
