Hey all just found out FreeBSD has a PowerPC32 support branch still maintained…I haven’t used it since the 90’s and honestly was never a fan of it. I’m off today and taking the dive to play around with it to see if it’ll be my main Linux partition for things I can’t do in leopard or tiger and that require a more modern browser and email client that tenfourfox or tenfourbird can no longer do.…I guess my question is how does it perform? I plan on using either LXDE or Mate…haven’t decided yet…with there being not a lot of talk about it in the forums is there a recent browser available for FreeBSD and an email client that supports modern standards? I haven’t looked at the packages available on there website for PowerPC but just wanted to get community opinion and any tips you guys may have for someone who’s a total newbbbbbb…I’m reading some of the handbook they have published on there website before I do the install just to have an idea. Thank guys!!!!!
