Freeing up space

Hi everyone,

I deleted 12 gb of free space last week and im down to 400mb! I havnt even downloaded anything. Any ideas where this has gone? sooo frustrating😕

What year/model OS and Mac are you on? If you are running Time Machine it might be Time Machine's local backups. Just turn Time Machine off then back on and it will zero this out.

Did you empty the trash after you deleted the 12GB of files?
