Well I'm trying it now... my god why does it take 20 minutes to just resize a video???

If you think it's just "resizing" a video, you clearly don't know much about video encoding.

Basically just know there's a very good reason it's taking so long, and enjoy.

if handbrake isn't working, Isquint does this easily and it is free too. or you can try iSkysoft Video Converter for Mac

Isquint is out of development, so I would stick to HandBrake.
