freezes and hard reboot does nothing..l.

this has happened to me several times in the past few weeks...


... the thing freezes, and a hard reboot seems to get stuck, so i hard reboot over... and over.. sometimes five or so times... till it returns to the home screen...

very frustrating. missed a meeting because of it today. conditions during these freak outs... always in my hot hot car. don't keep it in a hot car, but when i put it down on the hot dash it freaks.

any others?

I was gonne suggest a restore in iTunes, and see what happens. If that doesn't help, back it should go!

A hot dash isn't ideal for any electronics... have you tried the seat next to you, or some other stowing compartment maybe? You may also want to head down to the local auto parts store and invest in one of these. Your car's interior, your hands on the steering wheel, and your iPhone will thank you.

Also: just put down the iPhone. It's not worth missing meetings over.
