I have a brand new MBP with 16GB of ram and I tried to simply move a text file into a folder and it got stuck with a progress bar that displayed that never went away and the file never was moved. I had to do a force quite of Finder.

1. Anyone have any ideas why my new Mac would do this?
2. Does force quitting Finder cause any potential problems?

Thanks.

1. Bugs, they exist. I'd only be worried if it was happening frequently.
2. No I don't believe so.
