freezing and getting whit screen .. HELP!!

can anybody tell me the reasons of freezing my macbook pro (2.0 intel core, 1 GB RAM, 100 GB H) and getting a full whit screen were I cant do any thing at the time.

it habend mostly when I use Garageband, iMovie, or some WMV files (spatially when it get high rate processing with these programs)

Can anybody help me with this please

its a completely whit with some small black lines on the left top of the screen :S
and it coms sudden and I can not do any thing until switch it off by the power bottom.

It's actually spelled "white". It sounds like a logic board problem to me, and your best bet would be to call Apple, or take it into your nearest Apple Store.
