Not really sure how to describe this one so i took a blurry pic with my phone. I have a 15" early 2008 Macbook Pro, the last model before the unibodies. On Sunday it started getting pixelated blotches and then freezing. Every once and awhile the blotches go away but they come back a few seconds later. Anyone ever see this?

You've got the known-faulty nVidia 8600GT in there. Apple will replace it for you for free even if its out of warranty.
