freezing finder , strange problem

i have Macbook pro retina mid 2012
i installed HS and had problem

when i drag and drop files from download on the dock to any folder it is freezing that folder
i found solution that i delete that folder and everything was fine

last time i forgot and drag and drop to the finder !!! now i can not reach to the finder and can not open it
i call apple we did first Aid , VRAM , SMC , reinstall the OS nothing works

now they told my to erase everything and install fresh version with manual back up "with out time machine"

any ideas what happened ?

Just Apple Magic.

Sorry for the joke. I'd probably roll back to Sierra and install HS in a few months when Apple fixes it.

All apple's systems are buggy "IOS11 & HS"

Now we face serious problem not just slow or not smooth systems

I'm having the same issue! ugh. for me, it is only a specific directory. It started with the root directory (Macintosh HD), every time it is opened, it would freeze. I reinstalled macOS via macOS Recovery & it is now resolved. However, I now have an issue with a different directory on a network volume... I'm just dealing with it until 10.31.1 is released and will see if that fixes the issue.

i had problem with copy and past but after reinstall it fixed but still

now i have solution that i add folder home in the dock and i can reach to my Documents
