Freezing/Major lag issue.

It seems that whenever I try to take a full screenshot with either Grab or the keyboard shortcut my Unibody 15" MBP freezes up.

Nothing operates. I can't click on anything but the cursor moves.

The first time it happened I did a hard restart. Second time I tried it froze for a while and then it came back with the screenshot taken. Tried a third time and the freeze time was a bit less. At least it felt like it.

Any idea what's going on or a way to fix?

Known issue by the Mac community, don't know if Apple is aware of it yet. This only happens when you're using the 9600M GT. Screenshot with 9400M doesn't have this issue.

Oooh. Thanks for the heads up.

If I need to make an important screen shot I'll switch over then. Hope Apple fixes it.

was just about to post about this... ya I do many screenshots and just changed from Better Battery to Higher Performance and now I have the Lag/Freeze issue. Super ANNOYING!
Guess I will switch back.
