freezing, soft resets & slugish

I'm a little bummed that in the two weeks I've had my iPhone I've had more soft resets, program quits and freezes than I did in two years with windows mobile 5.

I've tried removing apps and reinstalling them and can't for the life of me find the culprit. I'm inclined to think it has something to do with mobileme and push syncing. Every time I see the circling data transfer thing it slows down (sometimes longer than others). Sometimes it takes a second or two before the button or screen touch works. Sometimes in email there seems to be a delay between touching the screen and the key input happening.

Is anyone else having similar issues? This isn't the iPhone experience I assumed I was getting. It's stability is worse than windows mobile so far. Is it likely that Apple will put out a patch or software update soon?

Yes, everyone seems to be having the exact same problems.

Apple should release v2.0.1, which will solely focus on bug fixes, early August (1st-12th).

Hopefully it will fix most, if not all, current bugs in 2.0.

In the meantime, please submit feedback to Apple, about these issues.
