Hello,

Recently my macbook started freezing whenever I would try and print. I have tried every program—safari, firefox, word, adobe reader, and text edit—but the same thing happens everytime. I click on "print" and I get the spinning wheel of death. Then I have to force quit the program.

Also, while trying to solve this problem, I found out that I can't even access the "Print & Fax" page in system preferences. I click on "print & fax" and get the spinning wheel of death, forcing me to force quit system preferences. I can still see the printers and their files when I go to "library>printers", but I have no idea where to even look for the problem.

This all started when I tried to print with my HP Deskjet D1560. This printer was on my list and worked fine two years ago. All of these problems started last week when I tried to start using the printer again. The first time the printer messed up my document and ever since I have had these problems.

Please help in any way that you can. Thanks for your time!

A.
