iPod touch freezing

I went threw all of the steps of jbing my itouch.Downgrading to 1.1.1 jbing all the way up to 1.1.3. When I went to the sources tab and tried to edit and add and started typing it froze. Anyone no what would cause that. I have tried doing this three times and still the same thing every time.

Try rebooting.

I tried rebooting it still getting the same thing.
