Frequent location request

My reminders, maps and calendar app on my iPhone 17 pro asks for location permission every time I open it. Did the “always” option disappear from these apps on the iOS 26.2 update? I click “when using the app” option but still keeps asking me every time I open the app. It’s driving me crazy! Anyone have a fix?

Looks like you only permitted to allow it one time.

I selected “while using this app.” Maybe it’s a bug 😢 I don’t know what else to do besides waiting for an iOS update.

The location services for Always has been only a thing while using.

as long you don’t pick never or ask next time/share the pop ups should not be there.
