So I'm running an iPhone 3G on 4.2.1 and at first after I JB it was fine. I re JB broke it to add multitasking, but since then it has been extra slow, though it sometimes speeds up, but then again just to slow. Also, I notice as soon as I do any type of multitasking, even just hitting reply to an SMS if I am in a different App, it will springboard crash. Anyone have any idea why or what I can do to fix it? Thanks.

2 bumps... Not much love for your thread.

4.x is really not supported for 3G models due to hardware issues and is recommended by jbers to remain at 3.x level. However you can run a 4.x hash if you really wanted to. Not recommended due to ram limitations but still doable to some certain aspect.

Your initial post is a bit vague. Let's start by you downloading crash reporter from cydia and we'll start from there. Upload your crash reports and we'll take a look at them.
