Fresh AW10 install on WatchOS 26 and iOS 26 iPhone does not mirror Airplane Mode

Any ideas? I have the setting in Watch app to mirror iphone.
Changing to Sleep profile or finding the iphone works so the watch is connected. the airplane mode doesn't work?
