I just did a fresh install of iOS 8.0.2 because of some goofy issue with iTunes.

Either way, iTunes is showing I have 882 MB of Other and 8.5 MB of Documents & Data on it. How can I figure out where this is coming from? It hasn't downloaded any of my iCloud data yet and even so, it was on there right when it turned on, before even signing in.

I selected Set up as new so I'm not sure where this came from. Any ideas?

Noticed a similar problem on my 16GB iPad Air. Fresh install and I only have 11.6 useable storage. Over 1Gb of "other".

I performed the fresh install in the first place because I had well over 3-4GB of "Other" that had filled my storage to the point I couldn't upgrade to 8.0.2 OTA.

iOS 8 must have some kind of storage vampire bug.
