Fresh Install of Lion

Hi,

I want to do a fresh install of Lion on my Macbook Pro (Mid 2010) but I have a few concerns. If I do a fresh install of Lion will my Windows 7 Partition be erased or damaged? If the partition isn't deleted can I still access it by holding the Option key on startup? Will Bootcamp Assistant with the fresh Lion install recognize that I have a Windows partition?
 
it should not affect your windows partition at all as long as you only erase the partition with OSX on it. The ability to boot into windows by holding the key is part of the bios and is not affected by the OSs.
