Hi, I just did a clean install on my brand new MBP 15" and I am having a minor, but annoying issue with firefox.
When I launch firefox, it opens, but the window is not selected. I have to click on the window. So I can't open it and immediately start typing something into google.
It's just one extra click, but it's annoying as I have never had this problem before on any of my Macs and I don't know how to fix it.
I tried uninstalling firefox, but that didn't change anything. I'm not sure I erased everything because when I reinstalled, all my bookmarks were still there.

Any ideas?

Try clearing the cache, change your home page to something different and reopen FF then change your home page back to google. I could not reproduce your problem in SL 10.6.1 with FF 3.5.3
