I just updated my OS. Its an older model of the MacBook OS x. I actually did a reinstall/fresh install because i did it wrong the first time (wasn't paying full attention). This time i installed it correctly by deleting everything first. Now i cant connect to wifi, anywhere! I think there is something wrong with Airport? Well, thats ONE thing wrong i guess. Can anyone tell me why it wont recognize wifi or if it is a software issue or a hardware? Ive ran the disk utility which said all was fine. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a software issue. It might help someone find a possible solution for you if you describe what happens when you try to connect.

1. What exact model of MacBook?
2. Updated from what to what? (e.g. 10.5.8 to 10.6.3)
3. What did you do "wrong" last time?
4. Did Airport work before?

When you say "can't connect to WiFi anywhere" -- you mean any WiFi router? Even free, open ones?
Is the little Airport menulet showing in the top right? Is WiFi turned on?
