Hi guys,

I've cluttered my macbook pro late 2013 and so made a bootable USB to fresh install.

However when I boot up from it, and select the USB option I get a no entry sign in grey?

Can someone help me out

I would like to do a fresh USB install and not the one saved on partition, in fact I would like to remove the partition too thanks.

You can't boot up the late 2013 mbp from bootable usbs of mavericks 10.9 or 10.9.1 made from the mac app store downloads because there are special builds for your computer for those systems (builds are not the same).

You can make the usb for the special build using this method:

It's very tricky though, so instead it would be better to wait till 10.9.2 is released before making such a usb.
